Our mission is to give hope and opportunity to those suffering from infertility and fighting for their dream of parenthood. The Stork Foundation provides financial assistance to low resource individuals who require costly medical infertility treatments that would otherwise be out of financial reach.

Infertility is not just a medical issue, but a fight for a DREAM.
The lack of infertility insurance coverage and high out of pocket cost for treatments (IVF, IUI, egg and sperm donation) can be prohibitively expensive, preventing many from the opportunity to conceive a child and experience the lifelong journey and joys of parenthood. The average cost for just one IVF cycle is $15,000-$20,000 including medicine. Unfortunately, some patients require multiple cycles to get pregnant.

"As a Financial Advisor who underwent 4 IVF cycles, I couldn't help but think of the financial aspect (burden) for these expensive treatments that aren't covered under most insurance plans. What about the couples who couldn’t afford this, or maybe could only afford one round? We were blessed with our daughter Mary on our third IVF cyle. The sweetest little face now looks up at me, but I remember all too well the emptiness inside while struggling with infertility, and the burning question I asked myself EVERY, SINGLE day: ‘Will I ever be a mom?’ This emptiness has been filled with love and never-ending gratefulness for modern medicine which gave me my beautiful daughter and a new identity I waited so long for – mother.

The Stork Foundation is committed to bringing awareness to an issue that normally isn’t talked about, and compassion for the emotional struggles of those diagnosed with infertility as well as those currently undergoing infertility treatments. Many with infertility feel shame and remain silent as a consequence, leaving them isolated and unsupported during a difficult period of their lives. By spotlighting others infertility stories, we hope to demystify and bring infertility out of the shadows, discuss it more, and help society view it like any other medical issue, while also offering hope and a community of support for those struggling on their journey to build a family.
